It's not just residents that need guidance on use of new systems. Personal experience has shown that contractors don't fully understand what they have installed. Recent comment on boiler service 'I'll have to get up to speed with these new boilers!' It's taken a year to sort out underfloor heating in my new build, and its still ongoing. This doesn't inspire confidence. Yes I want to save energy and money but this is not working out so far. I know more about the room stats than the contractors do. How can we get some quality control on these installs?
